Other important celebrations are the Moors and Christians, which are held throughout the province, between July and October. And of course, the Mystery of Elche, a World Heritage sacramental event, celebrated in August.

First things first, Santa Barbara Castle, the hallmark of Alicante’s capital, located 166 metres above sea level, offers you incredible views of the city and the entire bay.

In addition to El Postiguet Beach, the city has many interesting places, such as the Archaeology Museum of Alicante MARQ, the Modern Art Museum, the Hogueras Museum of Alicante, the Principal Theatre, the San Nicolás Cathedral, the Alicante Market, or the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz.
